Conference Day/Night: Parents are encouraged to meet with their child’s guide each semester. There are no Montessori classes held during these days, but BAC is open on a priority basis. Conference nights are reserved for parent/guide conferences with single working parents or households in which both parents work outside the home.
Early Release Day: All non-BAC children leave at 11:45 a.m. BAC children leave at their regular time.
Fall Festival: All MCHS families are invited to this fun, outdoor event.
Fathers’ Night: Evening event where children bring their fathers into their classrooms to share their work. This event is for second, third, and fourth year students, and for students who are in Montessori extended day (they stay in their classrooms from 8:15 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
In-Service Day: This refers to those days during the year when there are no Montessori classes and no BAC classes so that the staff can attend continuing education seminars, CPR and First AID training, and full staff meetings, as well as work in their classrooms.
International Festival: All MCHS families are invited to this fun, outdoor event.
Montessori Information Night: Invite your friends to attend this adult evening to discuss reasons to choose Montessori education.
Mothers’ Night: Evening event where children bring their mothers into their classrooms to share their work. This event is for second, third, and fourth year students, and for students who are in Montessori extended day (they stay in their classrooms from 8:15 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
Parent Education Evening: An adult-only evening addressing child development, parenting, and/or Montessori education.
Winter Celebration: MCHS families gather for an end-of-semester holiday event.
